TEXT 2. MY FUTURE JOB
In our society work is almost a must for a person. So – unless you are very rich – you have to work if you want to be accepted by your friends, acquaintances and neighbours. An unemployed person often feels unwanted and useless.
It is rather difficult sometimes to choose a career. We should pay attention to a number of important things. We must be sure that we will avoid unemployment or at least we will be able to apply our knowledge and skills in other fields of human activities.
In short, we should decide what to do in our life to feel satisfied but not bored or disappointed.
I don’t really want to become a millionaire, but my future job should be well-paid.
I would like to work with people more than with figures or papers. That does not mean that a job in research or production is excluded from my list but I would not want to be isolated from other people. I also want to travel much and to see other places, other cultures, traditions and customs.
It goes without saying that nowadays any good specialist should know foreign languages, because English is an international business language. That is why I do my best to master my English.
To put it in a nutshell, my future job should be a job that satisfies, that pays fairly well, and one that lets me work together with other people.
