It offers us powerful tools for searching information, its exploitation and presentation. In our society which is an information society, it is essential to know how to use it. Information technology has revolutionized the human enterprise. Nowadays it is the base of success for many people.
Today no one can ignore the contribution of computer to our life. The use of computers has become widespread. For example, it allows us to communicate with our banks via bank machines. Also, the engines of racing cars are controlled by a computer. Finally, solo navigators can inform us about weather conditions by using onboard computers. Website are used everywhere to play the role of virtual showcase. It is difficult to imagine a company without a website or a high quality IT tool for accounting and financial management. Today, there is nearly no one without a cell phone, no one who does not use a computer for typing , or does not use search engines to progress in his work.
The appearance of networks like internet is one of the greatest inventions that man could do. This network enables people of over the planet to discover and to be informed about the rest of the planet. Being a great cultural data base, Internet is a space where the cultures, traditions and religions are mixed. Internet offers us a freedom that we never had before, a chance for exchange. So, without these technologies, our society would not be the one that we have today.
Information technologies are among us and they never cease to progress to make our life easier. They help us to discover new cultures in the world and to communicate freely with anyone. They improve our lives by the amount of information available to everybody, they inform us about everything that happens everywhere no matter where we are around the world, and even sometimes they guide us in taking decisions. All this is really great as the information is the most important tool for the modern society operating.
In conclusion we can say
that information technologies play a key role in the modern society.
