Our life consists of digital technologies. We always use internet to know the latest news or find out a correct forecastle, use payment by credit cards through points-of-sale functioning through World Wide Web, watch the favorite films on TV in the evenings, have a chat with our friends in social networks. There are 4 digital technologies which influenced on our life most of all.
- World Wide Web.
First WWW appeared in 1969, consolidated 4 computers which were situated in USA Universities. All documents were in high secretly atmosphere and financed by Ministry of Defence. At the beginning had been suspected that «Arpanet» was the working name of Internet would being used only between military scientific-research institutions. Open to general using WWW became only in 1991. By this time e-mail, Internet Relay Chat (IRC) had been processed. Nowadays WWW is taking more and more parts in our modern life.
- Computers
During 70-th many computers were coming into existence. But they were very big, expensive and inconvenient. Though Apple II had a success in electronic market, IBM PC which was produced in 1981 by Microsoft became first world wide multiple computer. It was equipped with DOS operating system.
Further progress in computer field made price lower and let PC being used by many people so in studying and work as in entertainment industry.
- Wireless Fidelity
The meaning of WIFI is Wireless Fidelity.
The history of this technology began in 1985 when USA Federal communication agency let to use radio spectrum without license.
Progress in wifi technologies help people to connect almost everywhere.
- Social network.
The main goal of social network is people’s opportunity to have contact with another users. Classmates is the first social network was made to find school mates, relatives and so on in 1995. Our day’s more than 57 mills of people have got accounts there. Besides Classmates there are many another social networks as Facebook etc.
According to these observe we can understand that computer technologies changed our lives in 100%.
